If you want stick-and-rudder flying fundamentals, taildragger training for flying conventional gear aircraft or advance crosswind landing skills, fly with Peter Ryan - one of the more experienced pilots in aviation today.
Peter Ryan had a love of aviation from an early age and joined the Piako Aero Club as their youngest member at 7 years old. From there, he learned flying skills with pilots who had flown combat missions during the war.
In those early days of Tiger Moths and gliders, Peter was CFI at the local gliding club. Since then he has logged over 10,000 hours as a pilot and instructor - Peter's ratings include 13 types of gliders, three helicopters, five multi engine aircraft and 38 single engine type ratings.
Peter has towed over 7,000 glider flights, flown more than 7,000 loads of skydivers and had an article on safety for jump plane pilots published in the aviation journal, Vector.
